Thoughts

Johnny, I have been feeling emotionally stronger in the last couple of days and I really feel that you have been caring for me even though you are gone. We have Bill's funeral on Monday and we all know what it feels like to lose 2 granddads so close apart. Each family member will do it in their own way. I hope Lynn, Bill's wife will feel very much supported as it is a lonely path that every widow treads not matter how they feel about the death of their beloved. We will always remember you!

Johnny, this was a challenging day, because of missing you, when we were both vulnerable because of ill health and as the song goes, “we wished for a million candles for the help that never came”..... I did feel your presence tonight......so close as though you were touching my head to comfort Then I decided to send a Thought and I understood why you were comforting in your spiritual presence.... Matt & Lynn brought me comfort and they are my family, still physically present.... And I can therefore say, “I’m ready my Lord”

Wow, Johnny we have made it! I think we thought we had learnt the art of parenthood by the time we had Matt our third child, the one you made bonfires with at the bottom of the garden. I always wondered why he didn’t want to be a fireman, but then married a beautiful woman like Lynn, his wife. Good job, children make their own choices in life!
